Homerton University Hospital
Breast Aware - It's never too early
Description
This series of films, encouraging younger women to check for breast cancer, was made for the Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The commonest age for developing breast cancer is around 50 to 60. But younger women can be affected and black women tend to get it earlier, often with a more aggressive form of the disease. In this film we meet a number of women from north east London who have been successfully treated. All women need to check. It’s never too early – to be breast aware. The full series of films can be seen here.
