Susan Claris is an Associate Director at global engineering company ARUP. One of her responsibilities is to design our present cities around a low carbon future. Susan says a redesigning of our urban space involves not one single plan but several - and low carbon transport is part of the solution. A shift to public transport, cycling, walking, even less need to make journeys all relate to our personal halth and the health of cities of the future.
